Gene Wild's popular San Diego miscellaneous photos

I was born in Southern California but didn't have time to enjoy the sunshine before my parents moved to a small mill town in Oregon. Over the years I have ventured and adventured in the Pacific Northwest; from the mill towns of Oregon to the farming and logging country of Southwest Washington and back to a sailboat on the Columbia River in Portland, Oregon. Since 1999 I have been at home in America's Finest City--San Diego, California.

My introductuion to photography came in about 1956 when my brother left a "Kodak Pony 135" at home as he shipped out to Alaska for duty in the Air Force. Since that time a camera, or cameras, have been constant companions. During the late 60's and early 70's I was a partner in a custom black and white processing lab in Southwest Washington as well as being active as a freelance potographer. I have taken pictures of weddings, corporate parties, children, nature and natural disasters. With the advent of Photoshop 6 I became hooked on digital imaging and today focus on the many things that make San Diego wonderful.

If you don't see the images you need here contact me at genewild@cox.net or go to wild-works.com I am always shooting.

Enjoy
